This should make Steve Jobs happy
The line outside the Apple store Sunday morning at Crabtree Valley Mall in Raleigh. This was about 10 minutes before the store officially opened.

What were they lined up for? New product release I didn’t hear about?

Doubt it was a product release, it was probably to hook up. Everyone knows the Apple store is the best place to meet hot like-minded singles (short possibly of Harris Teeter in Cameron Village). They were probably there b/c they were eager to scope out the Sunday hotties :o)

Duly noted - but the people in this photo don’t look like Sunday hotties to me.
And for the record, *the* place to meet women is Target. I have blogged about this in the past - what an amazing aphrodisiac Target gift cards are.

See don’t be fooled. Those people didn’t come to actually buy anything. Those are the people with hardware issues who came to see the Geniuses on Friday night, only to discover the bar was booked until Sunday morning!
Morale of the story: In-Store support is a great idea as long as you properly staff it with KNOWLEDGEABLE people. I can’t tell you how many times I have had to wait DAYS for in store support only to get there and end up telling the Genius what the correct answer is to my problem.

Free place to check emails?

When I got new tires at Sears, the Apple Store provided the only wifi I could find to get online. Maybe Alisa is on to something.

I thought the best places to meet hotties in the Triangle were those Chik-Fil-A grand openings and Krispy Kreme eating contests.

Defintely at Krispy Kreme eating contests, but not at Chik-Fil-A grand opening. I mean, do you really want to date a woman who will wait in line over night to get a year’s worth of free chicken?
Glad to see someone is reading my blog ;o)
